Velona USDA Organic Red Palm Oil comes from palm trees native to Africa, where it has been consumed for thousands of years. It is semi-solid at room temperature and differs from palm kernel oil in nutritional composition. Velona UDSA Organic Extra Virgin Red Palm Oil is extracted from the pulp of the tree of organic – cultivated palm tree Elaeis Guineensis, by mechanical pressing, without the use of solvents. Because of its high yield, palm oil has become a common ingredient for cooking in many parts of the world. Additionally, due to its high smoke point and heat stability, red palm oil is a good choice for dishes that are fried or sautéed.
